we love each other VERY much, but every time we kiss, he opens his eyes. i heard that it means he doesn't really like me. but i know he does because we've been together for years and been through a lot. should i worry about it?

If you have sex once a month at least, maybe a little less, then that is why he has been with you so long. He might be keeping his eyes open to look for different women without you thinking he's cheating. On the other hand, some guys do that because they don't want to miss the lips and get the nose or chin.

You know, my husband does the same thing! It doesn't mean that he doesn't like you, maybe he just wants to see your lovely face while he is sharing such a tender moment with you. Alot of guys do this so don't look too much into it. If I were you, I would just ask my boyfriend why he keeps his eyes open point blank. And if all else fails, keep your eyes closed and you won't even know the difference! :)

I usually kiss with my eyes open. It's because I like looking at the girl and I like seeing how she reacts to my kisses.

His eyes are open? Is it even possible for that to mean something? Even if he didn't like you, I doubt he would express it by keeping his eyes open while kissing you. It could be an odd habit of his.

every person has a different way of expressing their feelings for another. maybe your boyfriend prefers to keep his eyes open while kissing cuz he likes to see the wonderful person he's with. Maybe he just likes to see your reaction while you guys kiss! you never know but don't stress about it!

yeah, that's what i heard... and that's what i think too.... when someone kisses you with their eyes open, that means that they're just not that into you or into kissing you at that time or at all... it's bad... but, if he's looking at you then you have nothing to worry about... but, if he's looking away then it's a problem, becasue he's not interested on kissing you whenever he does that...

Nope. Julia Roberts always kisses with her eyes open. Just watch her in movies.
I think as long as he's kissing you, it doesn't matter. Stop worrying about what other people think and ask him. He may just be uncomfortable being one of those close-eyed kissers!

If you have dated for so long and are comfortable with him why dont you ask him why he does it. Next time you kiss and he keeps his eyes open ask him, you can do it playfully so its not awkward for him or you. Maybe he just likes watching how you kiss him...

i dont think thats a bad thing, i thought if you kissed with your eyes open it ment you were comfortable and in love, hence looking into eyes (or trying to) ---> window to the soul.....
