This is very dependent on what type and breed of dog and what you have been feeding her. Also the fact that puppies get into everything so then you have to think about what that might have been. Some animals do actually have allergies and my vet told me to give my dog Benadryl and it has seemed to work very well

Who gives if it's an allergic reaction or a bite, the dog NEEDS medical attention now. Tell your mom that, or at least call a Veterinarian and ask them to come over. If they come over it's an extra charge 99% of the time. Though, if it IS a reaction, her system definitely ISN'T taking it, therefore something worse CAN and MIGHT, happen costing way more $$$. If it's a bite, again her system ISN'T taking it and COULD be having an allergic reaction to THAT. Whatever it is.. Her system ISN'T handling it. The Vet specifically told you they could have an allergic reaction, does this not seem to be one? Your mom needs some common sense. ETA: Allergic reactions are a very common reason dogs end up in animal emergency rooms. Dogs can have allergic reactions to bug bites such as bee or wasp stings or even an allergic reaction to vaccines. Most often, dogs have allergic reactions and we never actually determine what the underlying cause is. Most allergic reactions are relatively mild. However some reactions can be severe causing life-threatening anaphylaxis. Mild reactions generally appear as hives or swelling. The most common area for swelling is the face – especially around the eyes and muzzle. Sometimes they are "itchy" and begin scratching. What should you do if your dog is having an allergic reaction? If you suspect your dog is having an allergic reaction – call your veterinarian or local emergency clinic. You may want to keep some Benadryl® - or the generic formulation – which is Diphenhydramine on hand just in case.

Well, we need more info, thinks like, her effects on this, when did it occur and what was she doing on that day, stuff like that, if anything, she must of been outside (again, provide us with that info if she even goes outside) and got something in her eyes, and now either has an allergic reaction, or it is infected. Same thing inside, do you have a litter box for her? Do u have a cat litter box? (Again, more info needed) if so, maybe she scratched at the kitty litter, and some got inside her eyes, along with kitty/dog "left-overs" and it is infected. Either way, take her to a vet.

It could be an allergic reaction. Was she vaccinated earlier today, by any chance? To be on the safe side, you should take her into your vet if they are still open right now, or an after hours emergency vet if your is closed and have them take a look. Allergic reactions can sometimes go away on their own, but they can also progress to much worse situations (like difficulty breathing). Don't wait until tomorrow!

Yes, or even worst. If a dogs allergies every get that bad they need vet attention. They will most likly give her a shot to make this fot go away. Then she might have to put on pills. Of corse test will be needed to figure out what its allergic too.

i THINK IT MAY BE ALLERGIC REACTION OR SHE MAAY HAVE EATEN A BUG FROM OUTSIDE OR BEING A PUPPY COULD HAVE BIT THROUGH SOMETHING AND GOT IT INTO HER DIGESTIVE SYSTEM.
CALL YOUR LOCAL VET TO PUT HER ON SOME MEDS BEFORE SHE GETS WORSE
IT SHOULD NOT BE TO EXPENSIVE IF IT IS JUST AN ALLERGY PROBLEM

Sure, it could be. But, the only way to know for sure is to have a vet examine her. Keep an close eye on her and call your vet in the morning to make an appointment. : )
