Okay, so i want to make my lightish brown hair & dye it dark brown so i go dark for the winter.

I just recently dyed my hair early september, like the 5th or so using Herbal Essences hair dye.

If i buy a different product will it hurt my hair or should i stick to the herbal essences? Also, i want to know if it'll damage my hair in anway at all?

Will it be safe to dye say tomorrow or sometime this weekend?

I color my hair about every six weeks. It's ok to go darker with do it yourself color, I have tried different brands and Loreal Feria and Loreal Excellence cream are by far the best for me. Any color like dark golden brown will have a golden tone to it when you're in the sun. Ash colors or cool colors will not. Your hair will always be affected by any chemical process, but the Loreal has good conditioners that come with it.. Level 2 hair color washes out in about 28 shampoos, Level 3 (what I use) is permanent and grows out Keep your ends trimmed and that will help keep your hair healthy. Good luck to you. The color on the box should be the color your hair will be according to the chart on the side.

frist u have to wait 3 to 4 weeks before you dye your hair to give it a chance to grow out so it ok to dye it now. you could use herbal essences if you like but if they dont have the color u want . you can try something esle.

you should be fine to switch to whatever hair dye you choose. that was over 2 months ago and if you wernt' dying your hair a lighter color you could have dyed it earlier than this seeing as their wasn't any ammoina in your hair dye. if your afraid you could be damaging your hair use hydra tlc leave in conditioner cream by sunsilk (pink container) right after you rinse out the hair dye. this will restore your hair back to its natural shine and health.

happy dying.

Your hair will be fine. Going darker is always easier. Just deep condition it. Oh, and I like Loreal Hair dye. They have rich chocolate colors. You should try it.

i don't think using another product will damage your hair any more than it already is.. they are basically the same product just under a different name...

maybe you should wait before you dye your hair again.. say.. late december

I don't think it really matters. Especially since you dyed it so long ago. Honestly, I dyed my hair one night and i hated it so bad I dyed it again the next morning and nothing really bad happened. You should be okay.
