The truth that you are not the superior being and that there's someone or thing far superior than you? Is that why atheists are arrongant and immoral so they dont' have to worry about answering up to anyone?

Immoral? Ha. You're funny. I suppose you haven't read the Old Testament. Try reading Psalm 137:9 "Happy shall he be that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones."
Anyways, if anyone is afraid, it's relgious people. You find comfort in believing that when you die you'll be rewarded for your works down here. I am comfortable in knowing that when I die, I'm dead, but I make the best of my life on Earth and make sure everyone I know is happy while we're still together.
Do I wish there was a heaven and a God? Yes, I do. But do I believe there is? No.

For starters your whole argument is ridiculous. How in the world can you suggest that "atheists are arrogant and immoral"? I wonder how many atheists you have even met. You don't go around in your daily life asking people if they are atheist, I am sure, and THEY certainly don't walk around with a big label on their jackets "l'm an atheist" lol

As for your suggestion that atheists must be "scared" of something. I suggest that what you're calling "truth" is "YOUR" truth. What you personally think is truth based entirely on what YOU have chosen to believe. I further suggest that you remember the fact that you are fortunate enough to live in a part of the world that protects your personal right to believe whatever you choose to believe. If you appreciate that right, then why should you not respect the right of every other citizen of that same place you live in.... and indeed the right that everyone on the planet should have, to believe whatever THEY wish to as well? Just go about the business of practising your own beliefs, and leave others alone to do likewise.

Just how far up your backside did you go to get this one?

Are you scared there might not be a Superior Being and so feel the need to go after those who don't believe in one? Is that why you are appearing to be arrogant, talking down to others?

*sigh* It never ceases to amaze me how people will say others are immoral just because they do not believe the same as you do. Atheists still have to answer to someone... if they break the law, they have to answer to the court system. If they are children, they have to answer to their parents. At work, their boss. Just because someone doesn't believe in a Higher Power doesn't mean they think THEY are the Higher Power. Geez...

Arrogant and immoral are things that are in the eye of the beholder. As an atheist, I answer to myself. I take responsibility for my actions (instead of claiming that I did something wrong because the devil tempted me), and take credit for my successes (I succeeded based on my strengths, not a few humble words to an imaginary creator).

If you wish to see people who are scared to know the truth, take some of the evidence that disprove Christ's existence, the stories of the old testament (such as the great flood), as well as some of the thousands of pieces of evidence proving evolution over creation to those in the "Intelligent" design (fundamentalist camp). You will never see fear in the same way you see it there.

Are you a person? Don´t you have anything better to do than point fingers? Can´t you turn this aggression around to some positive purpose? Haven´t you read what happened to Job? Why are you trying to annoy the atheists? Are you scared of the truth? Do you believe that we should drop everything and follow you? Can I have your address? I want you to teach me? I want to be like you? Will you save me? Will you teach me how to be saved? Will you show me how to be like you? I think it´s wonderful how you sit in front of your computer as the world starves to death in its own greed, ignorance and gluttony. Well done, you score 5 points.

I am scared of sick people who take lies and fairy tales at face value and act accordingly. I actually think all people are essentially equal, no superior being, no exceptions. Athiests are no more or less immoral or arrogant than any other group of people. Its all determined on an individual basis to actually be specific. By the way, YOUR QUESTION IS ARROGANT!

Actually its the other way around. You use your god to put yourself above others. Its what allows you to ask arrogant questions such as this one. I don't believe in god and I don't think I am superior to anyone. I don't judge anyone, condemn anyone and I definitely don't tell people how and what to think. You think its OK to promote your religion and completely misrepresent your god? Why would I want to believe in a god that's supposedly creates people like you?

You, who believes in God, your creator, are you scared to know the truth?

The truth that you are not the morally superior being and that there's no one governing the universe? Is that why you're so self-righteous and self-satisfied so you don't let yourself stop to think for a moment that there's no creator waiting to welcome you home?

No, we're the ones who accept the truth. We regard theists as the ones who are living with blinkers on, for whatever reason - fear of death, wishful thinking that there ought to be a father figure 'up there', sadness over loss of loved ones, or whatever the cause is. Atheists simply accept the world as it clearly is, rather than deluding themselves that it is how they wish (or fear) it to be, as theists do.

Some atheists are arrogant and some atheists are immoral - however, I think you are wrong to stereotype us all.

I, for one, am not afraid to know the truth. I would actually love to know the truth. But the truth has to come with evidence and proof - not with blind faith.

Sorry, but apparently God made us atheists in such a way that we just think that way ...

Go figure ...
