Your bones play a part in regulating the pH levels in your body. They also produce the red blood cells that carry oxygenated blood to all the tissues in the body and carbon dioxide and other wastes and toxins away from those tissues to be disposed of in the lungs as the expirated gas CO2 or to other parts of the body such as the liver and kidneys to be expelled as excess fluids.
