I have very long hair, about 3/4 of the way down my back & I don't want to cut it short but really want to do something different with, maybe even something radically different.
I like to dye it & I'm not afraid of layers (all would be done by a professional of course!),got any suggestions?

My hair is quite dark brown (not natural but as close as after years of dying it!). Its already got some grown out layers in but I just wanted something more than the average hair cut.

I'm a very quirky & eccentric sort of person & I'll go out of my way to spend time on my hair because I like it to look nice.I do sometimes wear my bold,pinky/purple plastic framed glasses so I'd like it to be able to fit in with them too.
My clothes range from being smart to colour & funky so I need it to be as versatile as I can be sometimes.

My 25 year old daughter just had highlights put in her brown hair. They were ''Not" done at the part in her hair, but underneath alternating all over her scalp. This way when they grow in there is not the root growing out in the part in her hair. This was her hairdresser's idea. Also she had her med long hair trimmed with long layers that gave her hair bounce. Looks natural and fun.
Good luck the fun part of hair is that it grows out. From my experience I always start by saying keep it long enough to tie back then you don't get those silly side peices that just hang around on your face in the way.If your hair is long try shorter than shorter the second time till you get the lenght you desire.

i would cut about 2 inches off to start with, because chances are that if your hair is 3/4 of the way down your back chances are you have some split ends and your hair may not look healthy with them, then i would go with some choppy layers (the shortest one between your chin and shoulder) this way you can still keep your length but you can switch up your look. personally i am totally into red hair so if you havn't tried it yet, do it. although you may think it'll look bad, guys totally go for the redhead look (just ask my fiance) but being as its winter you also might want to go for a darker chesnut/brown color. If you dont have bangs you should definatly go for a side swept look with them, cut them diagnoly to one side and barley above one eye. the mysterious look is also completly amazing.
happy hair doing!
goodluck.

do certainly no longer curl 3 hundred and sixty 5 days hair. It basically would not artwork w/3 hundred and sixty 5 days face shape in any respect. The blond is okay regardless of if it would be greater suitable in case you toned it down somewhat. I liked the 1st %of three hundred and sixty 5 days hair it replaced into lovable however the final one replaced into ordinary. So the two persist with darker blonde or lightish brown.

II think people need to know you personally and you lifestyle, dress, looks etc to give you any advise on this one . Best bet is to go to a good hair stylist for advice, after all it must have taken a very long time to get your hair to that length so you dont want to make a decision in haste which you might regret!

I have the same problem!
When your hair is long it's good to have a bit of shape/volume to it.
Wash hair and plait it to create waves.
Wash hair, semi dry it and tie into a bun over night to create boho curls for the morning.
Have a choppy fringe cut into it, with layers and feathering.
Pin back the front of your hair to make a quiff.
It's hard to tell really, without knowing your face shape....

Def go for layers....and if possible keep your natural hair color as the base color and then try to get some natural looking highlights..it will add more depth to your hair and make it look more dimensional..also with the layers if u have time try to slightly curl it from the bottom and it'lll look fabulous =)

Er perhaps you could dye it and get a stylist to cut some layers in?? Being as I have no idea what colour your hair is now, it's ompossible to suggest a colour. As for the style, ask your stylist to do something radical perhaps?

First off what color is it naturally? If it's brown I would suggest putting in caramel highlights. If it's naturally blonde try putting in a few brown lowlights. If it's naturally red, put in blonde hightlights. I would suggest getting layers and side-swept bangs. Hope i helped!

The best suggestion that I have is just to leave it alone. Most days, it will look beautiful if you just leave it long. If you're having a bad hair day, though, an elegant bun will work well.
