I've known this guy for 3 years now. We get together and then I don't hear from him for 3 to 6 months and he wants to see me again.

Honey trust me. He's using u. I went through the exact same deal and i finally got frustrated with the guy. He is probably really immature. THere is luck when he grows up in the future for a better relationship but right now he seems like he is not ready for a good relationship and so pretty much just get rid of him. If it was meant to be (and if he ever grows up) he'll come back. You cant waste time on him life is too short sweetie and you deserve better!

i would stay away from him...i mean, that is ridiculous to not talk to someone for 3-6 months.
