Im a freshman in high school and i have a speech problem . I cant pronunce my "r"s or "sh"s . The is a big problem for me, i isolate myself from people i dont know well because of this. I have no idea what exactly my problem is ,except the fact that i say my SH and R wrong and when talking to people i mix up words .Any ways of fixing this without help of a pricey book or a speech therapist?

Go talk to a school councelor, they have classes that you can go to in school to help you with that The best part is that it's free speech therapy. Good luck.

Talk to someone at your school so you can start seeing the speech therapist. You can correct the problem for free while you're still in school. Plus, if it bothers you now then it'll only make you feel worse and worse the longer you let it go.

You could just practice saying words that you have trouble pronoucing. My sister had a speech problem and she did something similar to this to solve her problem
