For highschool I might go to an all girls school and i really dont want to. my parents are sort of making me though. can i have some pros and cons of going to a school like this?

Many people believe that girls do better academically when they attend an all girls school, and there is some research to back this up. Girls often learn differently than boys, so that would be another factor. A disadvantage would be not having the opportunity to learn social interaction with boys in a relatively supervised environment, which might make adjustment to co-ed classes at university more difficult.
There are quite a few arguments on both sides of the issue. These sites may be of some help to you and your parents. Best of luck with high school, whatever the final decision.

I chose to go to an all girls high school because I wanted to be able to focus on my studies...Other girls there were forced like you are being forced. Let me tell you, the school is exactly the same as a co-ed school, just no boys. Girls are still going to talk about you behind your back and girls will still fight over each others boyfriends and get pregnant by each others boyfriends. Your parents think that they are doing something good, but most girls either turned out being labeled as hoes or lesbians.
For me, I enjoyed my 4 years there. It was fun to watch these girls act stupid over another guy who was cheating on them with another girl in the school.
So all I can say is it's not as bad as you think it will be.

ok i went to an al girls school and it was awesome you feel so close to them because they know what you're going through and you can talk about whatever its ..i dunno you'l like it.....but i happened to be boy crazy so i decided to go to a co-ed school but i miss hangin with my girls it was awesome....

you will meet some best friends there but more girls = more drama. my best friends are guys. so for the year i went it was HELL! pluss no guys= not hotties??!!!
