As usual, all the evo's ,need to answer questions like this by saying that people with rational scientific inquiries have no education. Even the most recognized outspoken evolutionists, have admitted that there are no actual missing links, a fact which is so embarrassing to them that you NEVER hear about it. Over a hundred years after Darwin's theory came into being, there are LESS evidences for evolution than in his day, due to the knowledge we now have in the fields of Genetics, DNA, Geology etc. There are millions of fossils housed in museums, and NONE of them proves evolution of any kind. with billions of years of evolution, we should be tripping over fossils of transitions, as there would have to be more transitions than anything else.
P.S. I'm a science teacher.

I don't think anyone can provide you with the "missing link". There have been many tries at doing it but there is NO actual proof that present day humans came from monkeys, fish or dinosaurs. The old argument goes on: "IF we came from monkeys, why are there still monkeys". Good thought. Then some highly educated idiot jumps up and says, "For SOME reason, humans just branched off into their own species". They can't prove ANYTHING they say when all they have to do is read the Bible where all is explained.
I do believe that evolution DID occur because there have been skeletons found that date back to several million years ago. I believe that this proves that some type of "being" did evolve to a certain point. After all, when there was ONLY 4 people on earth, Cain went to the land of Nod and MARRIED. Who did he marry? It HAD to be an evolved being and was close enough to humans to breed and have off spring. Ask a preacher about Cain and he will tell you Cain married his sister OR beg off for an explanation.
The present day humans can be traced back to around 6 thousand years ago and then the trail goes cold.....NO link to the "ape man" has been found. No matter how hard "they" try, they WILL NOT find the "missing link" because there isn't any.
Don't waste you time looking for the "missing link", Dove.
Good luck. Pops

Look around. We're all "missing links."
That term is a misnomer. It has nothing to do with reality. What is commonly referred to by "missing link" is a transitional fossil. That is to say, a fossil that shows a species that is a common ancestor to two later distinct organisms.
Every creature that has ever lived, and every creature living today, is a transitional fossil. Evolution is an ever-occurring process, much like the rotation of the earth, or the passage of time. One day, the organisms living right now will be the distant ancestors of new, strange, unexpected organisms that inhabit this planet.
Yes, there are gaps in the evolutionary history of life, but that only means our knowledge isn't complete. It doesn't mean that "god must've done it so we should just stop looking."
However, we do have some rather complete records, such as the evolutionary lineage of the horse and the whale. See the reference below as a starting point. Learn about evolution before you try to show what's wrong with it; don't just regurgitate what you've heard from others.

If we can show you will you stop making silly assumptions such as this??
Go to Wikipedia and type in List of Transitional Fossils. You will get a list of at least 35 fossils that prove evolution. Also, check the news - in Japan, a dolphin was caught that still has two vestigal legs. That was yesterday!
You also need to understand something - every time science has provided X fossil between A fosssil and B fossil demonstrating evolution, religious fundies have screamed about transitional fossils between those fossils. To demonstrate how ridiculous this argument is, take two glasses and put them on your table. These represent fossils. Now, take a cup and place it between the two glasses - this represents a transitional fossil. What have you created? Two more gaps betwee each glass and cup, and youre asking to have it filled. If science fills those gaps with more examples, fundies cry foul again and demand that those gaps get filled - each time the number of gaps grown exponentially...

No, you're incorrect. A scientific theory must be testable and disprovable. Creationism is neither, so it's not a theory. Evolution is based on proven facts, although if new facts came to light conflicting with it, then Evolution would no longer be useful. Since Darwin proposed his theory in 1859, advances in genetics, zoology and paleantology have strengthened evolutionary theory. Over the last 148 years, millions of fossils have been discovered, including 1000s of fossils of hominids and early humans. Genetic discoveries have confirmed that humans share nearly 99% of their genes with other primate species, building the case for our origins. .

If you want a complete record with every skeleton from evey generation for the past million or two million or five million years, your not going to get it. If you want a record showing the progressive changes in the lineage, then open your eyes. Don't let a bunch of political liars dissuade you because they can't find perfection, and it opposes their agendas. Theories are demonstrated by skeptics and refuted by proponents, not the other way around. Take a good look.

If we knew where they were they wouldn't be missing. In reality the fossil evidence comes a poor second to the mutation rate of DNA in determining the evolutionary process. It's quite appropriate to take a leap of faith in science as well - finding proof often takes time and just because something has been refuted does not exclude its veracity.

Yes, there have been many links found. A good source if you want to start research is talkorigins. There are two things to realize, though. First, fossilization has been shown to be very rare. It's not surprising that not much survives over millions of years. Second, missing links are only a tiny tiny part of the evidence for evolution.

WHAT MISSING LINKS??????????????????????????? are there missing links between juaism and christianity. And WTF does the science behind evolution have to do with religion? And every theory and fact has been refuted, this does NOT make it any less true. You can say that penicillin is not an antibiotic( this is how you refute something, by the way) but that doesn't make it any less valuable as an antibiotic. Evolution is fact, Get over yourself, and get a bloody education! I hate moralistic idiots like you who think that if they keep saying something didn't happen it will just go away. DON'T SPAWN KIDS. YOU DON'T DESERVE ANY!

actually there are hundreds of mssing links, every time we find more evidence the religious right just makes more missing links ex;
to start we have1,16,28,50 the thory goes that we can count from 1-50...but the religious right says thats impossible, it's too much of a jump where are the missing links?
we find 2, 6, 13, 19, 25,31,
the religious right says again, now you have even more gaps, what comes betwee 2 and 6, 6 and 13, 13 and 16, 16 and 19 etc
