I am considering it as an option and would like to hear of a positive experience from folks out there where the dress was 1)gorgeously made, 2)fit as you wanted it to, 3)quality in fabrics and embellishments was perfectly what you wanted/hoped, and 3)saved you MONEY from buying it in the store. I am interested in Ebay due to it's ease of use and breadth of choices but am open to others as well.

If it helps, I live in N.Eastern United States. I did think, however, that Ebay tailor will get your measurements via email, make ur dress, and then have you pay to ship to you......

I realize this is not a comfortable idea for alot of brides but I am not asking to hear why going this route would be a bad idea....I'd like to hear from anyone who has in fact done this and had a good experience. From what I can tell, feedback from customers on a couple Ebayers have been 99% or higher in the positive direction so I'm hoping to hear from THOSE brides :) Thank you!

i replaced into counseled to the Ebay broking gianinarbridal via some yahoo purchasers. I basically ordered my gown final week and that they say it takes 30 - 40 5 days to make then some days extra for transport. I went with them after listening to some positives besides as their fact that, besides a million/2 the transport fees they'll take returns. So worst-case state of affairs is i'm out a million/2 the transport fees (decrease than $50), yet best-case state of affairs is i've got have been given a marriage gown with matching jacket and handbag for decrease than $219 :) I figured it replaced into somewhat somewhat worth the possibility because of the fact i'm being very funds wide awake. in case you have have been given it sluggish to attend in the previous you could desire to purchase a gown, i may be happy to enable you to comprehend the way my gown seems.

would need to know where you lived for starters; no good recommending someone who lives across the other side of the country/world
you would probably be better off looking locally- go to a fabric store & ask if they can reccommend someone

I would not recommend it. I would find other ways to cut corners than the oh so important wedding gown.
