Check the local colleges. They may let you do a set up for a few days. SAC or UTSA or Our Lady of the Lake. Good luck! Maybe also community centers.

I'm also an emerging artist living in San Antonio Texas. There are three places i'll mention off the bat, but you will have to check them out yourself to see if they are right for you. The Regional Artists Consortium, the River Arts Group, i'm not sure of the name but it's in the King Williams district, and these are only a few. If you care to check out my work it can be found at hellosanantonio.com under the name GUERRO. Perhaps you may want to set your art up on the website itself. from San Antonio- Guerro

If you're serious about being an artist as a career, you might wanna consider getting the hell outta San Antonio. I'm assuming you've tried the galleries there? If you have, and they dont want to show your work, you really need to consider moving to a city where an artist can support himself.

I wish I could help you out by buying something from you. I'm broke too, but working on this. When I'm up and running, do you paint red galloping horses? Need some for my southern wall.
