I'm 16, I currently met this thirteen year old girl at the mall, I didn't think she was thirteen, I figured she was around 15 or 16 because she looked much older.. I really like this girl but i'm so confused,
I wouldn't have sex with her or even attempt anything like that because of her age..My mom doesn't approve or disapprove, I've almost dated a girl who was 19 so, 13 is a big difference then that but she acts more mature then a lot of the girls that I know, a lot of the girls I know are really slutty : /
give me your point of view on this, negative or positive
its all good

I have to say that I have the same problem as you. I am a 16 year old girl who wants to date a 13 year old boy. I do not think there is anything wrong with it, except for the fact of the age difference. Age differs in some laws about statutory rape, you might want to check it out. Anyways, I suggest that you get to know the parents DEFINITELY. Ask for their consent, and if they don't allow it, ask if you can "court" her, where one of her relatives comes with you on dates or if you visit her at her house.

Good luck with it!

Girls often mature earlier than boys...so the age thing isn't much of a difference...besides it should only be determined on a case-by-case and it seems that shes a good match as long as neither parents are totally disapproving. I'd say Go for it Dude!

I have a 15 yr old daughter and she can only date guys that are 2yrs older... There is a big difference in 13 and 16... I think she is too young for you... She shouldn't even be able to date yet!!

If you really like this girl, and you think she acts more mature than any other girl then go for it 3 years is no big difference, but since she's young if you date her to really do anything sexual, because i bet her parents disapprove.

It depends on what you consider "dating". If that means hangin out at the mall, catching a movie, going to school activities etc... Then No I don't think you are too old. But if you are looking for a physical relationship, then yes you are too old. It may not matter what you or the girl think, her parents may not approve and they get the final say about who their daughter dates.

I think it's okay for you to go out with her if you aren't having sex and neither set of parents objects. I was a mature 13 as well, and most of my friends at that age were older. Just make sure things don't go to far.

if she's mature enough and you respect her age and keep in mind she's only 13, and it might be a good idea to get approval from her parents.

My opinion is if you really like them you should even if your friends laugh at you at plus you're only three years older than them
