My fiance's ex girlfriend for 4 yrs still calls him to say hi, should I allow this or not, obviouly she is still in love with him, but he swears that he has no feelings for her anymore and that its all for the sake of friendship.

What is the frequency and how does your fiance act? If it is like a keep in touch call once a month and your fiance doesn't even think about it, I wouldn't worry. How long ago did they break up? If they don't go out and do friend stuff together, the calls are a little weird. Why not just email? Sounds like she is needy and wants him back, plus she is pulling the phone thing to say, see I still get to call him.

I would tell your fiance that you absolutely trust him and have no doubts about his faithfulness. You're just concerned that the ex seems to have needs/issues that he can't solve. Offer for the three of you to go to lunch or something. If she truly wants a friendship, she should be happy that he has found his future wife and should want to get to know you. If she won't, her intentions are obvious. Again, try to explain this to your fiance, don't take the acccusatory route or the "we've got to have a major discussion" route. Guys love quick and to the point. Explain it and then let him set things into motion. Good luck!

oh, the remnants of love burn out slowly. and I don't care what anyone says, familiarity is so easy to slip back into. you need to let your fiance know how you feel. if he's trustworthy, you gotta believe him. if he isn't, what're you doing getting engaged to such a lowriding dog?

Kinda makes you wonder what he's doing on his "lunch breaks", or when he comes home late from work.
