there are programs in my start menu that i have uninstalled, how do i get rid of them?

I fully recommend the use of a program Crap Cleaner. Yes! That's the real name! You can download it from www.download.com. Reviews are the best. This program will make your computer fly! It will remove everything and more that you can't see. I discovered it a few months ago. It's free and you won't have to spend any money in expensive software that does not do anything. Download it and get that crap cleaned! (Including those "programs" in your start menu. They are just unused icons)

Right Click > Delete

goto your start up menu. highlight the item you with to delete, right click that item (the right button on the mouse), then select delete. answer yes to the pop up that is asking if you are aware that deleting the shortcut will not delete the program. then it's gone.

You right click the program and press delete.

simply click on start find the programs you have uninstalled and right click on them and click delete

Plac curser over the START link, and right click, that should open up a new munu. From there click on, programs, then accessories, or whatever.

click on start click on control panel and then select add or remove programs.. and there u can uninstall them..=]

Right click on the incons you wanted to remove then delete.

Try right clicking on them, and hit delete, it might work
