I'm just looking for opinions on Sylvia Brown?

I'm not even sure how to ask my question.
Is she of God?
I'm only asking because she talks of past lives and spirits surrounding us and all kinds of things that sound more... atrological than Christian. I'm confused because I didin't think those two things could go together.
Does anyone understand what I'm saying?
What is your take on her?

My experience as a psalm reader/psysic tells me she truly believes all she does is of God and she does her best for her work and words to be for good not harm. THe rest is a very greay area even fro us mystics. Only God truly knows but since we are judged by God on the meditations of the heart and her intent is good her soul is safe.

A little off-subject, but she bears a striking resemblance to Dr. Joy Browne, even though I've never heard of the two being related. Are they? They also have similar mannerisms and voices.

As far as the spiritual aspect of it: I don't know about Sylvia in particular (I think she seems ingenuine), but I believe there's something to the spirit-connections in some people. There seems to have been a ghost in my former house too, but that's not something you go around sharing.

I believe she sees or reads people. This happended in the bible also. Samuel visited the witch or Endore who raised the spirit of Saul. This was not permitted and he was punished.
These things are real, but that doesn't mean we are to fool around with them. BTW, I'm not calling Sylvia a witch.

Sylvia Brown? WOW, lets go there with this qusetion. You are correct Christianity and talking to dead people dont mix. God calls this witchcraft and it leads to hell. We are entitled to believe as we choose, including sylvia brown. But, if we believe Gods word, then we know this is witchcraft. we cant talk to dead ppl. God is clear on that. THey only speak to evil demons who pretend to be the other person. And how can they know what all to say then? remember the devil has tremendous power, and God says sometimes he comes as an angel of light but is darkness. light and darkness do not mix. Believing you can speak to the dead, leads into other serious error also, that leads to destruction. Never listen to anyone that thinks they can speak to the dead. Its witchcraft. Its wrong. Its sin. and leads only to destruction, confusion, further deception and death. God is giving you discernment or you would not question this lady. But, pray for her to know Jesus too. God is quick to forgive. she just has to ask. Press on with Jesus

She is the most powerful psychic in the world and her gift is from God, she does so many beautiful things for people including the police department and no she does not charge the police department that asks for her help. she is a beautiful lady and i cannot believe alot of christians are against her, she is more christian then they are anyday

We all are of God, I believe that she is mean, short with people and a fraud. She is just a good performance artist. I do not believe she has the "true" gift of prophesy.
