If the wealthy and upper middle class people would donate money to Africa, that would be a start. I understand it's hard for us working folk, but the billionaires, millionaires, even thousandnaires should stop being so stingy and world hunger could totally be solved.

The real question is "How can we help the starving people of the world?" Starvation is not only limited to Africa. There's plenty of starvation to go around worldwide. So the question should be, "Why is there not enough food to eat worldwide?"
In reality though, the richer countries can produce enough food to feed the entire planet easy. Unfortunately, due to greed, misuse of resources, and politics, the food never reaches to those in dire need. The world systems are based with the "haves" and the "have-nots." It's a corrupt system that will only get worse at time goes on.
What's the solution? Either there will have to be an intervention by God, or something else, because we sure can not take care of ourselves.

how about saving all the starving american children first..then whats left share with the world.

#1 Meet their immediate needs temporarily. Ie- Feed them, drill water wells for drinking water, get them medical care.
#2 Education: show them how to sustain themselves.
#3 Love. send your love and prayers.
Numbers 1 & 2 can be done by you personally- or you can donate to a charity or mission thereby sending someone to do it.

Stop feeding them. Force those people to only have the kids they can afford to feed. Oh and tell them to get the hell out of the deserts, it's sand, nothing grows there, nothing is going to grow there. Move to where the food is or die.
