Going up to girls that initiate my interest has been thus far a hurdle. The even bigger hurdle is after I finally conjure up the balls to say hi, I cannot keep a conversation from turning awkward. I get overcome by nervousness which eventually leaves me with little to say. I know the answer sounds simple but to me i feel like i cannot get over this nervous feeling. What can I do? Any suggestions?

just go up to her and say "hey! what's up?" let her reply, and then reply to whatever she says back. After that leave. Yes! i told u to go up to her and say what's up, and leave! Of course, give a reason for leaving(make one up if u have to) and give her a flirty smile or something before u go. this will keep her wondering, and get her interested. So the next time u two might possibly have more to talk about, and she might even get enough guts to come up to u and start a conversation.

I have this same problem. Try starting up conversations with girls you could care less about whether or not they like you for practice (you dont need to ask them out). Anyway, this will get you used to talking to a girl and will help some when you talk to the girl you like. As for the akwardness, that will lessen the more you talk to people.

Maybe talk to women online to get some practice. I think it's a common enough problem. Ever thought that ladies might like the shy guy where they have to make the move. Learn to use your body language to communicate interest and flirt so that you don't have to be the one to always make the first move.

Before some people go to sleep they sit there and think. Tonight before you go to sleep think of some things she enjoys and think of some things you could say under each topic and use the topic you have the most things you can say. Also think of some homework you "had trouble on" and ask for her help. Usually she can tell that your nervous and some girls think thats cute. Good luck.

Women love a man that is sure of himself along with a man that is a good listner. As her a question that will require her to talk for a while and just listen. This will give you a chance to breathe and relax. You should be ok after that!

try to be calm and dont try to copy some lines or anything of that kind be yourself.
Also dont try to flatter the girl way too much then they think youre just a looser.
Be original be yourself and ask her bout things she generally likes and try n talk on them it'll carry on from there
Take care

dude that's called inexperience...after a while it won't happen... have a few flirts or just have some dates and you'll be confortable with women in no time...and think about it... this is good...you have the balls to get to a girl and tell her hi...remember that when you get nervous...it'll boost your confidence..

Okay, there is a simple way to deal with this. Practice, it makes perfect. Try it with people whom it wouldn't bother you to embarress yourself in front of. Try it its easier than it sounds.
