How can I open a tea ball that's stuck shut?

It's a cheap pull-apart; I'm guessing that someone put the two halves together before it was dry and now the two halves are stuck.

Throw it against the wall...works for me everytime!

run VERY hot water over the side that goes over----makes the metal expand& should pull apart

since it's stuck dry try add water to loosen the tightness.

put it in the freezer and as it cools then it should shrink in size....
