Why not? Age is a number and a state of mind. A lot of people will say that a 49 year old man should have nothing to do with a 34 year old woman, but they don't know the maturity or the specifics of the situation. As long as he treats you well and respects you, why not give it a try? Love doesn't care how old you are. Good luck!

That's not so big of an age difference. It's not a generation gap really. Plus, by the time the woman is 34 she should have stuff figured out more. It's not the same as a 15 year difference between a 20 and 35 year old (which I would not be in favor of.) If this is you, then sure, go ahead and take a chance. But base your decision to do it on all the other things about the guy that are attractive and not simply on age.

Give it a go, us men don't start to grow up until well into our thirties, so a 34 year old women is mentally about the same age as a 49 year old man!

Age difference only seems to be a problem when we are younger like if you was 15 that would make him 30 a lot of people would frown upon that but now your all grown up no it is not a problem you know what you want and if you are both happy whats the big deal. So enjoy life and do your thing and be happy doing it.

Why do you say,"is the man too old for the woman?". Could not the woman be too young for the man? The age difference is not important, unless one of the pair is a 'minor' in which case it becomes illegal. Go for it!
Be happy.

,In Venezuela mother's will not allow their daughter to go out with men younger than 35. To unpredictable, insincere and flighty. In Hongkong and China the rule is " Take the man's age. Half it. Add seven years. Anything over the result is a socially acceptable for marriage" It's the man in the man that counts. Follow your gut feelings and you won't go wrong.

Same-ish age as me (34, that is, not 49 - lol). Go for it - you're both adults. The older you get, the less it matters.

Age shouldn't be an issue after both parties are of age (meaning out of their parent's house.) My fiance and I are 11 years apart (I am 25 and he is 36.) Age doesn't matter as long as the connection is there. I say date, get to know each other and see if the connection is there. If it is, you'll be glad you looked over the age difference!

You are not so terribly far apart in age. Just make sure that he isn't married and that you are going to click in the first place. Love comes in many ages. I do think it is gross when the woman is the elder of the two! Total craddle robbing!
