Does the MovieTime™ DV10 have to be used in an almost 100% dark room? could i use it in my living room ( 3 windows and a sky light) in the middle of the day, to watch tv?

Regarding the MovieTime: Depending on the type of program on TV, it is possible to view in somewhat bright room but consider that this Projector has around 1000Lumens and a Contrast Ratio of 4000:1 A.I.............
So, you will have some reduction in the reception quality(picture) as compared to similar viewing in dark surroundings.

Also dependant is the direct obstruction of light on the screen or whatever you are projecting the image on.

Otherwise, you can also see the reviews as mentioned by other answerer.

For movies it is preferable to use almost any projector in a dark or almost dark room. More room light can be handled if used for games or presentations. The MovieTime got good reviews as a home theatre projector. Read the review at the link to see what the reviewer had to say, but it would not be a good choice for TV watching in a light room.

Hope this helps.
