for them to be with someone better looking or worse? I saw my ex and quite frankly, the b*tch is ugly. So, in my opinion it sucks more if they are worse looking. What are your thoughts?

I knew I would at least get one person who said to get a life...I thank you for not letting me down. Luckily I have a great man who treats me 10 times better, I just had to chuckle and walk away.

You know what i don't think it sucks! If he finds someone that's worse...then that's what he gets...now if i stayed friends with my ex, then i wouldn't want him with some ugly girl. But when it all comes down to it...i don't think it sucks that they end up with some ugly chick...not for me at least...

seeing an ex and hurting depends on much you do or don't still feel. if the ex looks awesome and/or is with someone that looks better then u, its going to suck a whole lot more. my policy is not to keep in contact with the exes, and if i see them, pretend you don't and put it out of your mind.

I would suppose her being prettier.
And before u judge anything think of whats worse for the 'ex' being left for someone 'ugly' or someone 'beautufil'.

If they're better looking, you can "blame it" on that. Since we don't control our looks, that takes it out of our hands.
If they're not as good looking, then one would be more likely to think "there's something so wrong with me that he broke up with me for someone uglier."
Hopefully, you're dating people with enough depth that this isn't an issue. Things don't work out, people move on, and life is good.

im not sure everytime ive seen him with a girl i thought she was not very pretty. but all that happens is a rush of long lost feelings for about a minute or 2 a nice hug and a few minutes of convorsation and i forget i ever saw him

This would depend on your own sense of self esteem. To me beauty is skin deep and maybe this woman has a fun and caring personality that makes it great to be in her company.

yup. if you got it going on and they look like crap, i know i'd feel better. lol. for instance i seen one of my ex's the other day and he is skinny and has open sores on his face from doing crack, and i am happy and healthy, it made me smile inside.
