Ok your question is not relevant to your comment.

First answer:

Yes, guys are going to be shy.

Second answer:

Yes, there are romantic guys out there, in fact that is what kind of makes me shy. Just because you are romantic doesn't mean that you are going to go ahead and ask any girl out, because that wouldn't be romantic.

-Yes, I think it is the guys responsibility to ask the girl out. However getting the courage to ask the girl out can be difficult. The fear of rejection is very powerful.

- So, best advice here is to do something together in a group of friends. That way it leaves pressure off and then he might ask you out on a private date and then, let the romantic acts begin.

It can be hard for them. They are just as nervous and shy as we are.

It's not the guys job to make the first move all the time. The guys that I've talked to say that they would prefer the girls to make the first move because they don't know if the girl is going to be okay with what they do. Girls are the same way with guys.

I wish guys weren't shy, and they would just jump on it though. I bet they think they same thing.

:]

I agree, it is the guys job to do ask the girl out. In these days though, the girls have gotten bold. Several have approached me. A lot of guys are shy about it. No one wants the rejection. It is one of the biggest decisions guys have to make in their lives. We don't want to make a bad one. A guy has to be ready to give up almost everything in his life to have a girlfriend, who would possibly one day be his wife. It's tough to give up fun for high levels of responsibility.

most guys are worse than girls 'cause they're afraid of being shot down. there are 2 kinds of guys: ones that ask out girls they're interested in, and guys that put it out there to any chick without an adam's apple. the nice ones are the nervous ones, but it may take them a little longer than girls are willing to wait, that's why we make the first move sometimjes ;-)

Alot are, not all. Some are to shy to make a move. Some make a move on EVERYTHING. Then you have the middle market, the ones who dont hit on you like a hooker, but let you know they're interested.

I still think guys should be asking the girls out. most guys are shy...well not exactly shy but nervous to ask a girl out bc of fear of rejection.

More so because in society it is usually the guys responsibility to do the asking whereas the girl can wait to be asked

lol guys are as shy as girls when it comes to that... it's a very awkward situation to ask someone out especially if any of you is sure about the other person's feelings about you... but life is too short...just do like I do...ask him out ( in my case her) and whatever ....
