Let's do a really good job here, and write down the numbers in
their proper and--in good greek--way:
1)=en
2)=dio
3)=tria
4)=tessera
5)=pende
6)=ex
7)=epta'
8)=okto'
9)=ennea
10)=dheca
Now, this is how one counts to ten. But as in greek, some of these numbers vary according to genus of the noun, you have to know how to say one man, one woman or one child, for it is not the same. This stands also for # 3 +4.
Ciao.......John-John.
