Yesterday I twisted my ankle, and last night I I sprained it by slamming it against the side of my bed. I cant walk on it, and I cant do any thing that has to do with standing on it too much. I have been on a weight loss plan for around a week, and I don't want to pause it because of this, as my goal is for Thanksgiving. I am continuing my nutrition plan, but need something to do for exercises.
My main thing for this plan is to get a flat stomach, if that helps any.

Most ab exercises don't require the use of your ankle. Try a pilates video at home or just do crunches and other things to work the core muscles. If you have access to a heated swimming pool, you might try swimming or water aerobics.

Come to think of it one of the guys on The Biggest Loser tv show still lost weight even though he hurt his ankle. I believe he was doing "water running" (running in a shallow pool) and also upper body strength training.

I think I've heard that the rowing machine is a good way to get cardio using the arms and back. And there might be something out there that looks like bicycle pedals but for your arms...I forget what it's called.

Most importantly, keep up with your diet. Drink plenty of water to lose water weight. Also I lost inches in my stomach area when I ate more fiber. Keep that ankle elevated and use ice and Motrin to keep the swelling down. Hopefully you'll feel better soon!

try some nice sitting excersises, crunches sit ups, i know someone with an ab worker and that works wonders it comes with a video that sets pace and is a breeze. Also try some good biking (on a work-out bike), because that could help it heal faster and try to just keep active no matter what you do. try push ups to and don't give up because you can accomplish anything you put your mind to!
