Not from the Mid-East? AlJazeera.com, I feel is very good, but-it is from there. People have said it is anti-America. I really do not think so.
Below someone gives a long website for Al Jazeera-but, just type in the name (as above) and it will pull it up.

News is about recent happenings and changes. Are you expecting changes to Islam ? For source on Islam, there are plenty of books and websites.

Yes. There is a really good one actually. Muslim Reports. I'm pretty sure its www.muslimreports.com. It's the best I've found and is pretty much the truth, cut and dry. Current too.
