Your methods of hydration (increasing your body water content) can be divided into:

ENTERAL ROUTES (ie. via the GI tract and usual absorption)
Oral
Nasogastric

and PARENTERAL ROUTES (ie. alternatives to the GI tract)
eg. Intravenous
Subcutaneous

If you wish to continue oral rehydration and you do not like to drink water, why not use some of these alternatives:

flavoured water - add a little cordial to your water, or water down your lemonade or juice. The WHO internationally used oral rehydration fluid includes a pinch of salt and a handful of sugar to a litre of water. Lemonade and juice have too much sugar in them. If you cannot bear to water them down, perhaps you should drink water and then drink your usual drinks in a 2:1 ratio or some such compromise.

Other good compromises which are used predominantly in babies and children is to give treats such as jelly and ice-blocks. There are some ice-blocks available currently which are made of oral rehydration solution which you freeze and then use to supplement your oral intake.

I would suggest that these are better alternatives than putting a rubber tube into your nose, or putting a drip into your arm.

Um...you could try broth based soups, juices, tea, or even fruit contains a lot of water. I hate drinking a lot of water all at once since my stomach feels all sloshy. I space it out over the whole day, drinking a few sips here and there. I also find that I drink more when I use a straw, so I always ask for one with my water glass at restaurants. Also if you eat a lot of salty food or processed foods with sodium you are making things much worse.
