She should contact her old school and notify them of her change of address and what school she will be going to. Then she should go to the office in her new school and talk to them about having her files transferred.

When my daughter started high school after we moved, her records had been sent to the other high school even though I had informed her Middle School that she'd be changing schools. Anyways, my daughter handled the entire situation on her own and the new school never tried to contact me about it.

However, on the first day of school my daughter has always brought home some papers that need to be filled out (by me) to provide the school with contact information and medical information.

When she walks out that door to move with you she will be emacipating herself. Her parents will no longer be held responsible for her. They will no longer have to provide for her, no longer have to financially support her and a minimum wage part time job isn't going to pay the rent and all of the bills, especially the ones that come with babies. So the two of you might want to think this over.
