Trying to book online airfare. What is the cheapest site?

www.kayak.com searches all of the cheapfare sites.. plus all of the airline sites. And you can book flights coming from Europe (if that's where you're coming from, you didn't say) which you can't do on all sites (such as priceline.com).

if you bid on a ticket through priceline, you have to take whatever flight they find. It could be at midnight friday night to one a.m. sunday morning and then you wouldn't have a lot of time for a weekend....just try the site I like and compare all the different travel sites at once. iBtraveling.com good luck!

Use FareChase, they search dozens of websites for you, so you dont have to!!!
You can also type "flights to chicago" in Yahoo Search and fill the nifty search form that comes up.
