my sons skin is so delicate. he scratches his skin whenever its itchy, and left small and big scars. is there any ointment to remove scars?

I would see a derm. and see what they say. I had some really bad sun damage on my face once and it scarred me up and the dr. gave me retin-a which improved the scars so much they are hardly even visible. It took about 4 months of this to see a difference.

Mederma will diminish the appearance of scars, but there is no making them go away. If he is young, put mitts on his hands to prevent him scratching himself. I've known people that form scars called Keloids with just a simple scratch of a bug bite. So protect him from himself, and protect his skin.

Silica gel or rose hip oil might help.
