I am single, young, and in school, and don't worry...by no means am I going to get myself pregnant anytime soon. But for the past few months I have been craving a baby! I want one!

My question is why? Some say that its a lack of love but I do not feel unloved. I truly believe from the bottom of my heart that it is simply because I love kids.

Some women Feel their"biological clock" more than others. Mine is LOUD.I have 2 wonderful happy healthy boys.My brain says I am happy and do not want any more children. Our bank account says We have enough money for the 4 of us to live well but without many extras so one more is not logical. Now I wish that message was being conveyed to my "clock" every time I see a baby I practically drool. My uterus does little flips and my breasts swell as if to say "see we can still make milk". More than once I have found my self Accosting poor unsuspecting new parents in stores With coos of " awww Your baby is sooo cute, How old is it, I remember when my boy was that age" .I have since had my tubes tied so I can not have any more.I do not regret this. As I said though my body just will not let the craving go.I have long since gotten used to sleeping through the night, not smelling of baby puke, and actually spending a little time with my husband before 11pm when we finally got the little one to sleep. How I deal with these baby cravings is Play with all my friends baby's.And ever once in awhile when my "clock" is to loud I will offer to take my 6 month old god daughter over night. She has Bad colic and is prone to screaming for hours. One night of walking the floors usually cures it.At least for a little while. Hope it helps to know you are not alone.

Kid's can be adorable. A child is the most responsible decision two people can make, it's a shame so many people take it so lightly. The world is full of unwanted and unloved children and adult's, do your best to not contribute to that number. Regardless of your desire keep yourself grounded. As has been said raising a kid is expensive, make sure you're somewhat financially stable before you take the plunge. If a person can't keep a roof over their own head and food in their own stomach how well are they going to be able to raise a child. Look at all the people with kid's now who since they can't afford to live on one income both parent's have to work leaving the raising of their kid to a nanny or day care center. There are many natural urge's that people experience, hopefully they use their brain to make the right, reasonable decision. It's sad when people just have to have that cute little pet, then after they've had it awhile they get tired of it and get rid of it, a kid isn't so easily disposed of. If you have everything in order or at least a feasible plan go for it, if not, think before you jump.

It's hormones, otherwise known as the biological clock. Women between the ages of 13 and 25 are programmed to have babies. They want babies. The more hormones, the stronger the drive.

You'll go through a similar stage somewhere between 40 and 45 when you'll just die if you don't have a baby. That happens not long before menopause.

Get a job at a daycare, with 20 screaming babies.... trust me that feeling will go away in short order! Seriously, almost every woman wants a baby when they are cute and cuddly, and not spitting up and screaming and crying beacuse they need a diaper change. I love my kids and I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world, but there are some days when, I wouldn't give five cents for a pair just like them!! j/k

Personally i think having kids will ruin your life.

From the momment you become pregnant everything in your life will be about the kid from then til you die.

You will not have any money, kids are VERY VERY expensive. You will not have anything that is not dirty or broken. Kids love to make a mess and break things. Teeenagers are wirse.

Find a nice loving guy and enjoy life without kids. You'll thank me later.
