The Jesuits rock.

They are the big missionaries of Catholicism--they are the ones that go to countries and fight for social justice. Rarely will you find a Jesuit tied to a church or position; they're always moving around.

Another huge Jesuit ministry is education. There are thousands of Jesuit high schools across the US (I go to one), and they also have some very good colleges (e.g. Marquette, Gonzaga, Xavier).

The Jesuits are a teaching order in the Roman Catholic church which originated in Spain. As a religious order they are good and do not involve themselves in any politics at all. They are also in India. I think they went there with the Spanish Armada but I a not sure. School in Mumbai run by them is St. Stanislaus in Bandra and Xaviers college in the Crawford Market area.

The Society of Jesus or The Jesuits are a religious order of men within the Catholic Church, considered by many as the intellectuals of catholicism dedicated to education and the ministry within parishes world wide. There are many sites to access on the internet if you google 'Jesuits'.
