its pretty much over now but won't be certified till the 17th then the loser has the right to ask for a recount...so we may not know for sure who won till late December....however it is pretty much impossible to make up 6,000 or more votes...Webb has won Virginia...it would take a miracle for the republican incumbent to win in a recount...it is in the bag that the dems will control both the house and the senate

As long as it happens before next session, I don't care. It could take a while. No one can formally ask for a recount until the first count is official, and has ten days to do it. So it could take a week or three before a recount even starts. Then when it is done, there could be more re-counts, court involvement, etc. At least VA doesn't have hanging chads to worry about.
