well most people don't use bounce flash in the studio first of all. and secondly the easiest type of camera to use bounce flash with would be 35mm slr type. you can use it with other types of camera's yes but since it sounds like you know little about photography i'd recomend 35mm.
just remember for every five feet you bounce your light open up an f stop!

Hi,
Bounce flash is a lighting technique that is independent of camera and light source (you can also bounce a continuos light, bouncing it’s just a way to get a soft light).
So use the camera that is needed for the work and bounce the light source that has enough power for that task.
If you use a flash, get the trigger mechanism, it can be a cable, a wireless trigger, a infrared trigger, a cell or just put camera on bulb and fire the flash.
For studio work sometimes is enough a decent digital camera, sometimes you are asked for a large print or negative that may require to use a medium or large format camera, or maybe, the pict demands perspective correction or a cross processing.
Lighting may require a daylight balance, or enough power for large dept of field. Or maybe a flash would be a better option if you are taken pictures of flowers or any other subject tha cannot stand a hot light source.
So think a little about your particular case and select the tools you need.
