Or is it for losers? I just can't meet anyone genuinely nice. I always run into the same people and have a hard time meeting new people. I will be embarassed if a friend sees my online personal ad. What do you think?

Hello:Yes I am on a few sites myself.You will always come across a few "losers-scammers cons players" on every site.Sometime the more obscure dating sites turn out to be the best because every
body seems to be on the more popular ones.But hey do not give up hope.
Just continue being carefull and as always do your homework be
fore joining a site.If it seems like a bad site chances are it will be just
that.

I have dated two people I met online. They were both wonderful men. I'm planning to marry the second one. I moved 2000 miles to be with him. I will warn you to be very careful though. Never meet anyone for a first date unless it's at a very public place. meet them there, don't have them pick you up at home until you know them very well.
I've got to add a little here. First guy I dated was through Match.com. The one I'm marrying I met in a chat room. I think it would be better to check out chat rooms for wahatever you are interested in. Then it's more likely you'll meet someone you have something in common with and can go from there. Watch out for the ones looking to cheat on their wives though.

Ive done online dating three times, the first time I meet someone I had to put a PFA on because when I went to get rid of them, they wouldnt leave me alone. even called my work and told lies tryng to get me fired. The second one I met and married, divorced 6 months later, he was cheating on me with someone he meet online and the third one was just a total freak wanted to use all kinds of sex toys. I would say they are online becuase they exhausted all the girls in thier neighborhood, job, life, etc and everyone knows what a loser they are. I think it is just a waste of money and time. You have a better chance of finding a real diamond in a one of those toy claw machines then you have finding a decent guy online.

.....give it a go luv,.........so long as yuh use common sense,...and yuh choose carefully who yuh wanna chat with, and who yuh dont wanna chat with,.....you'll end up having a lot of fun on them if yuh want......The site will give yuh record's and detail's on all the member's they have, and you just browse through them and pick some guy's yuh think might like,..then send them an email or an inst' mess',...and they will send yuh one back to see if yuh wanna chat about everything or anything......Give it a try, and use some ordinary common sense, and you will have a lot of fun, if yuh want to give it a bit of a try out.......
