I assume you were looking for a serious answer....

Ireland is no different from any other Western country I have been to. You place your napkin in your lap, you wait for your host or hostess to begin eating, you don't slurp your soup or belch or otherwise offend other diners.

The biggest difference between Ireland and the U.S. is the knife-and-fork-hand-switching thing. I don't think that represents a breach of etiquette, just a cultural difference. Hope this helps!

not picking your nose at the table is a good start.

But seriously - Ireland is not much different from anywhere else - a bit more laid back perhaps. So just act in your normal manner.

From the table slowly releasing the chair ! And requesting the guest,It's my pleasure have a sit.Asking the partner if he/she like Vodka-Beer or hard liquor.

at home ---- shove it in your face and hope some of it gets in your mouth, rinse with beer, and repeat

at a restaurant ---- same thing
