What inspiring advice: "Give up"!
Actually, people's beliefs change. Mine have. I am grateful for the people in my life who shared their experience and understanding with me while I was searching.

Using Jesus as the example, he did not avoid those that he knew were doing wrong. He did not hide from those who had different views. He was willing to discuss.
Just remember in this forum, many of the participants are still fairly young and have not yet developed the understanding that others have ideas different from their own that may be of value. Even if they do not agree with them they have not yet learned to accept what others believe. It is all a maturing and learning process. As we have all or will go through that process it is probably a very important and valuable part of growing up....with that said that may be the value of this forum...to learn to tolerate other opinions when they are different from our own.

we are here to gain wisdom and knowledge from each other and then teach others what we have learned so mankind may be a little better off than when we arrived on this plane of existence. but since everyone has free will believe in giving a person what I believe to be true, letting them make up their own minds.

eyes open. Our duty as Christians is to spread the Word of God that brings us much peace. We cannot ignore that. However, I do not believe we should shove it down peoples throats. I also believe that athiests have a responsibility in saying, no thanks. We need to be polite to eachother, regardless.

Well, both, I am a Christian but I don't shove my beliefs on everyone (which is wrong) I do open my eyes to other culture and accept as they are, but I don't go along with it. Unless it is morally right and fun.

Lol...I change people's beliefs al lthe time in real life because I am a teen and surrounded by other teens who havn't formed solid opinions yet. It's kind of hard with a bunch of full grown adults online though.

Open-eyed answer to your question: I feel that it is better to see what we are able to see and to be thankful that we have eyes to see with, ears to hear, a mind to think.
Closed-eyed answer to the same question: Huh? Is someone there?
