My fiance puts a smile on my face and my friends do as well. Hugs are highly underrated and much more important than people think- when my fiance hugs me after a bad day its so comforting and so helpful to know that the bad day is over and I'm ok. Its the same with hugs from friends but, without the whole "love" bit.

There are so many options to this one...

My cousin, because he is an absolute car nut. So everytime he calls me during a bad day he uses enough lingo to make NASCAR techs wince, and he always has crazy stories like the one from this morning. He was pulling a alternator from a old tow yard in Olympia, WA and he's laying in about three inches of rain when he begins. He gets it off and turns his head to the side and inhales rain water. It had risen to ten inches in the time it took him to get it off. (FYI when in washington tow yard watch out when it rains, cause the rain leaves about two foot ditches underneath ever car due to the ground sinking.)

My roommates past and present have all been from the dance department, don't ask why I just always manage to get stuck with them. They are all a little crazy with sooo much energy. And no inhibitions about anything. They are loud, say exactly what they feel even if it is a crazy funny sound of frusturation. And they totally have this ever lasting ability to dramatize any and all of lifes functions. Hilarious let me tell you

Finally probably myself. In example, I work at a daycare and I was having like the worst day ever. My car broke down in the pouring rain, I had to fix it twice on the way to work. Was twenty minutes late. Recieved a call from my cousin (the one mentioned above) telling me that he needed a loan for twenty bucks I didn't have. I tripped over this crazy toy that my group of school-age kids love to play with and got in trouble with the boss for a lack of displining on my part. I finally make it back to my dorm room only to find out that our toliet has been broken for like I don't know how many hours and it smelt really bad. Talk about a Murphy's Law Day. And I just started to laugh like hysterically, until I couldn't breath and my side hurt and suddenly the day was more of an adventure, an epic one in fact, then a horrible day.

It is so much easier to laugh at yourself then to cry over the stupid little things in life.

When my fiance gets home from work, he can always put me in a much better mood. He knows how to get me laughing and feeling much, much better. He is always there for me, no matter what my mood is. He has a great sense of humor and knows when and when not to use it. He comforts me when I am so upset that I cry. He lets me talk out the problems so I can figure them out, without him judging me or others or trying to 'fix' the problem for me. It's just who he is and how he is.

After a difficult day I lie back in my spa bath, with my bottle of wine and think of someone special in my life, and imagine what they'd looked like at that very moment - (as they slept)......(have done that quite often)
