I've been dating my boyfriend for almost 3 years now, we're really close to getting engaged. I love him more than anything but he's just not romantic at all. Any ideas how I can get him to be more romantic? I've tried telling him flat out that he needs to step it up, but it's just not working...

Ask him. He's not going to know if you don't tell him.

While it may seem forward, you're never going to get your point across if you don't tell him!

My husband was the same way, until I told him that I needed more romance. Guess what? He's getting better! :-)

Maybe tell him again, or even better, do some romantic things for him, such as write him little notes, buy some new lingerie, or something little like that, and see if he likes it, which more than likely he will. If he does, explain to him how much you'd like it and appreciate it if he would do the same for you. Maybe you just need to help him out & get him started by letting him know little things that would make your relationship more spicy, more romantic.
