I have a Scion XB and I'm looking to get something with a bit more power (nothing crazy) that seats at least 4 and handles awesome in the crappy rain. Any help?

Look for something with all wheel drive, but NOT four wheel drive, as this is set up differently and a 4X4 on just damp pavement will burn through a transfer case quickly. All wheel drive means it's designed to have power to all four wheels even on dry pavement without damaging the vehicle. Check out some of the Subaru models. I hate to say it, as I work for a different company, but they have a nice product for rainy regions.

If your wanting more power and wanting a new vehicle, get a new vehicle, but if your wanting better handling in slippery conditions, look into getting better tires.

i love my jeeps (i have three) - they handle well in just about all conditions. of course, no vehicle will handle right on bad tires so make sure whatever vehicle you go with has good ones.
