When a handful of Muslims commit violence against Western civilians, the whole of the Muslim world is deemed collectively guilty and the religion of Islam is condemned for promoting violence and opposing progress. When tens of thousands of Muslim and Arab civilians are starved and slaughtered in Iraq, Palestine, Lebanon and Afghanistan by the democratically elected
goverments and armed forces of Western states be it the US, Israel or Nato, these horrific acts of injustice are simply "regrettable" and never seems to reflect negatively on Christianity, Judaism or the West.
WHY ????????????????

Well, not to long ago you could find terrorists fighting in Spain and Ireland for "Religion". Also these terrorists were not called "catholic or prostestant terrorists"
I don't want to discuss the terror problem, I like to find out, why arab terrorist got called muslim terrorists.
sorry for the double posting. didn't mean to do that.

It seems strange to me that you believe that there are only a "handful" of Muslims terrorists or extremists. They have committed bombings and massacres all over the word! There are people suffering in these countries because of their own countries governments! America cannot and should not take all the blame for these countries problems. There are too many lazy *** American's who do nothing and ***** about how horrible our country is. I am so tired of it! If America is really that bad, maybe you should just go to one of the extremists countries and see if you like it better there!

But they DO reflect badly on Christians, Jews, and the West. We just don't hear about all the gory details here, just like they don't hear all the gory details about our generalization of Muslims.

People label other groups by the visible acts of a few because of....wait for it.....the unknown. They don't know enough about Jews or Christians or the West to know any differently.

Just like the majority of Americans don't know about the Muslim world.

And, much of the Middle East blames everything on Israel (the Jews) and the US (the West), so that generalization is out there too.

It is interesting to note that everywhere that Muslims and non-Muslims co-exist there is Muslim terrorism.

if Muslims want the rest of the world to stop seeing them as terrorists - then you need to start becoming more tolerant of other people.

Well that is untrue what your saying because to some it DOES reflect negatively to some people. It is just politicians in power in the US and they control what is shown on tv by the media.

Because you shouldn't have blown up the world trade center. Now we have to make your people suffer. Pretty simple isn't it?
