I am eating (fairly) healthy, trying to work out around my work schedule and taking a fat burner( Xantrex 3) which is kind of working, however, doeas any one know if Smartburn, or another one like that works? Does Hoodia really work? If someone has tried it, please let me know if it has really supressed your appetite, because I will spend the $45 to get it. Thanx everyone!!

It's not really safe to lose 20 pounds in 5 weeks - but I'm sure you don't want me preaching at you about that.

The fastest way I have ever lost weight was when I went on "The Master Cleanser" fast. I'm pretty sure you can buy the book off of Amazon.com

All you drink - for 10 days (or more) is a lemonade made of lemons, cayenne pepper, Grade B maple syrup and water. If you smoke, drink caffeine or eat a lot of sugar - you have to stop those things prior to the fast. I've done it every spring for the last three years - from 7 - 10 days each time. I always lose at least 10 pounds. I know people who have done it for up to 30 days and lost much more. I do it as a health practice - and a spiritual experience - more than a process to lose weight. But you know - whatever works for you!

Good luck.

Don't you dare eat under 1000 calories per day! That will send your body into starvation mode and you won't lose any weight. Aim for between 1200 and 1500 calories a day. Drink at least 8 cups (64 oz) per day which will cause you to lose water weight the healthy way. Also limit sodium intake. And, yes, running is an excellent way to burn fat. Be sure to do 1 hour of cardio exercise per day and also weight training.

I personally wouldn't recommend any fat burners...the only one that ever worked for me was ephedra and that could really damage your heart (not to mention being illegal now).

Depending on your current weight, 4 pounds per week might not be possible but I bet you could get at least halfway there.

Stop eating.
It's the fastest easiest way to lose weight without having to spend money, exercise, or eat healthy.
