I've been reading a lot of about drug taskforce and there reverse stings, buy operations and etc. Its so messed up because this all goes down in african american communities. Why do they not take there van full of cops to a white community? Have you ever seen a taskforce van in a white neighborhood?

I'm not talking about a search warrant! I'm talking about sale and purchase operations. I know search warrants are not racists.

actually yes I know some are.
I interviewed with a drug task force some years ago, when I was in law enforcement, I was not given the job because I was not black, they wanted someone to work in the projects.
I tried to explain that many drug dealers, often larger ones were white and not in the projects. They did not care, they wanted to make alot of little arrests for the news.

The cops aren't racists. They just aren't stupid. They've been watching the streets long enough to know that when somebody's selling crack cocaine or heroin out of a car, the seller is Black most of the time.
When you go fishing for evildoers, some spots are better than others for catching them. It's experience, statistics, probability, good strategy... though, come to think of it, that's what racism is, too.
The difference between the racists and the cops is that the cops don't have any particular racial loyalty as they do their work. They're just hitting the hot spots.
Someone mentioned that crystal methamphetamine is the drug whose sellers are #1 on the police Most Wanted list. I really don't know what the crimefighting priorities are in the USA, but I do know that crystal meth is the only illegal drug that Whites abuse more frequently than Blacks do, on a per capita basis.
I'd be willing to bet money that at least part of the reason for targeting meth is that it lets the cops arrest more Whites and thus avoid some of the charges of racism. Get it? Things are so twisted now that the police exercise anti-White racism in order to avoid the smear for anti-Black racism.

Yes, actually I have. Their not racist by any means. They will arrest anyone who buys or sells drugs without a doubt. I'm white and I live in a nice community will all different types of people. Last year I witnessed a sting operation going down on the other side of my street about 2 blocks down. The officers busted a meth lab house with 4 white adults and 2 teenagers. It's not uncommon or surprising to say the least. It happens everywhere believe it or not.

I've arrested many people for drugs from just about every ethnic background and every economic level. It isn't about color or money but about getting the bad guys. Just so happens that the more money you have the better lawyer you can buy. No really fair, but this isn't a communist country. And yes, I have seen a task force in a white neighborhood on many occasions.

Ummmm. Have you ever thought that maybe there are more drug dealers in the african-american community than in the caucasion community? I'm not say caucasions don't sell drugs...I'm saying there are many more in the African-American and Mexican communities. If you took the time to research statistics you would not ask if it's a racist issue. Stop making excuses!

They take their vans to where the drugs are. Those places happen to be in african american communities. They could take the vans to the white communities but chances are they arent going to find as many people. Ive seen meth busts in white towns anyways.

They aren't necessarily racist i have many friends who are Black and Mexican who have never been searched for drugs or asked if they have any
I on the other hand have been questioned and searched because of how my friends and i dress (which is punk/goth) and none of us are stoners or have our own meth labs or anything like that it is because of the goth/punk stereotype. it isn't so much what the color of the skin is but how you act and how you dress that is going to lead up to you getting searched or people asking you to sell them drugs.

ok no they are not racist the reason they go to those neighaborhoods is because that is where the vast majority if the activity is if they go to a "white" community they will not be able to make as many arrests.

Yes, they have them in white communities.....in fact I saw a major meth bust just last month about 2 blocks from where I live. Why do people always have to make it a racial thing?
