why is it you can love someone then just want to slap them. My boyfriend gets on my nerves to the max! but i know it will get better so i stay. But im now finding out that two other guys like me...not that i like them, im a one man kinda girl but i dont want him getting all jealous like he always does. Why is it i cant talk to other guys but he can talk to other females? For some reason its safe for him to do it but im "cheating" if i do. Funny thing is hes cheated on me but ive never cheated on him. wtf

exactly. power is the point of a relationship. a good foundation is knowing that you two don't NEED eachother, you simply have chosen to be together. Love is a growing and constantly changing process. This is hard for some people to believe, but you won't always be happy and feel in love when you're with someone. There will be ups and downs. But the understanding is both people wish to endure those ups and downs and make it work. You'll want to slap him plenty of times in the future, and if you ever marry, it'll be a million more times. But never cease to grow and become better people and understand eachother better. Never stop trying to understand your partner. And hopefully they will never stop trying to understand you too.
Petty jealousies and such are a part of life and a part of fledgling relationships. Sometimes a little jealousy is a good thing, but you need to understand that letting it control both of you and come to the point of causing emotional discomfort is nothing but a precursor to the end of the relationship.

Ashely that is what u call a controlling man. no this is 4 real hes probally cheating on u cause if he has trust isses then he can have female friends n u cant have male friends? are u above the age 18? if so who the heck do he think he is? child u really need to rethink this boyfriend you have....... and the next time u have the erge to slap him dont just be nice n fix him dinner n put a little spit in it.... it sure makes me feel better when mine gets on my nerves n do stupid things, just to watch him eat is a great reward within, then if the spit aint good enough sprinkle girt off the floor. hey those who cheat on there mate n have no real reason to do so deserve foood with a twist lol

Sounds like an ex-girlfriend, she would get so jealous when I just talked to another girl (even if it wasn't a friend, but, if I had an extended conversation with a waitress somewhere), she seemed convinced I would cheat her....and THEN she cheated on me. So basically what it means when people are jealous is that they're way more likely to cheat than you are. BTW, after she cheated on me, I took her back and she only got worse with the whole "me talking to other girls" so I dumped her a*s*s*, and never had a second thought about it.

OK now i am not saying that your boyfriend is cheating on you. But from what i have learned in life if they are accusing you of cheating its because they are guilty of it. Now it sounds like you boy friend has a trust issue if you have never given him any reason not to trust you there is a problem there. there is a difference between being hurt by some one cheating on you and jealousy because there is no jealousy in love. Love is Patient Love is Kind it really sounds like he is insecure and he is afraid of losing you. I don't know but maybe he should be i believe when you are in a relationship you should be faithful.

With guys it always a guilty conscious. If he could have friend then you have ever right too. If he don't like the fact of you having guy friends the you should tell him that you don't like the fact that he has girl friends. If he don't agree to it then leave him. Beside one a cheat always a cheat. You deserve better.

Your man is immature and insecure. In a relationship the most important things are trust, respect and love. When does are not in place then you can not have a healthy relationship. So if he is flirting and cheating then maybe you need to re valuate your relationship with this man.

I think you should talk to him. If he doesnt do anything to change then you should break up with him and find someone that makes you happy, because you are not happy with this guy

he's just a jealous guy who is paranoid, there's no reason for him to be jealous if you're are just talking to other guys and hanging out with them, as long as you have no past occurances. i hang out with plenty of female friends and my gf doesn't care. i get jealous when she's with other guys but i know she wouldn't do anything with them. guys tend to be paranoid and jealous, it's all of our testosterone. and i apologize for it
