Why not get some drinks in while she is asleep, she's obviously tired for a reason. Then wake her gently. Don't feel peeved.

yer and on the way home stop at a petrol station,get some(dead)cheap,nasty flowers,next stop kebab shop,take home half eaten kebab,wake her up as you stagger around after several pints of strong continental lager,then as she shouts at you calling you assorted nasty names,say sorry and call her by your ex girlfriends name.or you could just snuggle up next to her and gentley fall asleep....

no dont be so mean, whats she gonna think when she wakes up and your not there?!
be nice, surprise her when she wakes up with a nice relaxing bath, men are never romantic, they just think of themselves.
