I am a Dem, but I disagree with Mexicans because Mexico is in the same boat as we are in immigration, they get an influx of So. Americans and Central Americans who come to Mexico for a better life or just along on their journey to the US. Mexico deports back all it's immigrants and yet think it's okay to send the Mexicans here. Don't get me wrong, I am not a racist or anything, but I just think it's hypocritical of that country. I guess it's because the illegals send tons of money to Mexico and the country benefits from that more than they care about being hypocrites.

Anyone who enters a country illegally is committing a crime. All other countries deal with this issue, all that is, except us. We want to be politically correct, and kiss a$$. (Sorry)
I would like to see 'all' illegal immigrants turned around and sent back to where they came from. How do we know that there aren't far worse people crossing over, then what some only wish to see.
Come here LEGALLY and be welcomed into this country. Otherwise, please, stay home.. fight for your rights and such in your own home land, not mine.
I was raised Democratic, but have become Republican over the years. I try to vote for the best person in a given situation.

no one who comes here illegally should be allowed to stay. I don't care what country you are from. The fact that so many cross our borders from mexico is the reason that MEXICAN illegals are the main focus of all of the debates. I am an Independent

They should be deported right back to Mexico! It's crazy that they come here illegally and expect handouts from the government, they expect our schools to accomodate them with Spanish speaking teachers and teaching them about Mexican things in AMERICAN schools, being able to vote and the list could go on. If we were to go illegally to Mexico and ask for all that from their government, would they give it to us?? Of course not!!! They would send us right back. And that's what we need to do with illegal immigrants. If they want to come here and do what's necessary to become a legal citizen that's great! It's just ridiculous that these people are coming in here illegally and we aren't doing a darn thing about it.

Don't feel bad. Our so called "representatives" have been ignoring this issue for years. As a matter of fact our own government is somewhat confused because they knowingly aid and abet this criminal activity
To start you could support the House Bill HR 4437. The enforcement only bill.

I am against anyone and I mean anyone who is on our country illegally. Take it from a man whose wife is Canadian and will not cross over until she can legally do so. I am insulted and apalled at the people who enter our country illegally and stay without being prosecuted and deported. My reasoning is plain, if I have to obey the law then why don't these people who are breaking the law by their presence alone much less what crimes get committed on our soil.

You got to remember that even though the majority of illegal aliens are Mexican, there's another percentage that come from the rest of the world. My stance is that illegal immigration should be stopped, a selective amnesty should be given, and the legal immigration system should be IMPROVED.

I'm against illegal immigration. That makes me a populist sort-of Republican (I would vote for Hillary above McCain, would it not bring Bill back to the white house, for example, but would vote for an anti-illegal immigration candidate given the choice.)
Poor, unskilled immigrants are limited because they simply are not able to ever pay enough in taxes to cover the costs of education for their children and the other services poor people use. I am putting people who walk across the border pregnant, have kids and collect aid on thier children's behalf totally aside here. The thing is that we subsidize our poor people. Paying for education for the children of illegals (other benefits aside) is a huge cost with the money coming from our own children's education, and the overcrowded and ESL drained schools creating a new low in education standards for our own people.
We taxpayers subsidize this 'cheap' labor for business. Agribusiness wants to offer seasonal workers permenant residency after 3 years of work as a carrot. That means for the rest of their and their children's lives we would be paying education and benefit costs in order to get agribusiness three seasons worth of berry picking at lower wages.
I hardly think that is fair.

Illegal entry by any foreign national is, under U.S. law, lawbreaking. Exploitation (of the cheap labor provided by foreign nationals) of illegals should be deemed as lawbreaking. So, the foreign nationals and the U.S. businesses who hire them are, without question, behaving in an illegal and self-serving manner. The U.S. should enforce it's laws and stop flip-flopping on this issue. And, until Vincente Fox opens his country to U.S. citizens who want to enter Mexico illegally, the Mexican president should shut his hole about U.S. policy regarding Mexican illegals. The Mexican president would serve his nation better by creating conditions in his own country that would prompt his citizens to remain there. The state of the U.S. economy is such that we should be creating jobs for our own citizens and not presenting them via "Guest Worker" programs to Mexican nationals. Isn't it enough that many of our factories have gone to Mexico! Isn't it enough that NAFTA is flooding our nation with inferior, pesticide-tainted produce! Isn't it enough that millions of dollars earned by Mexican illegals are sent (via moneygrams) to their relatives in Mexico. Amnest for people who steal employment from U.S. citizens is unacceptable, traitorous, and a definite sellout.
I do mind.

They are on a mission to reclaim parts of our country, therefore they should be deported ASAP. This is OUR country, The United States Of America - not Mexico. Where they get their silly notions is beyond me. They must be stopped, and soon. Look around ... it's looking more and more like Mexico everyday. At least in Texas (where I am) it is. If they hate us and our country so much, they should go back to Mexico where they belong, and stay there. Mexico is the country they love. They have no business being here.
Republican.
