It's the idea that all religion began as monostheistic and then they became polytheistic. Some Examples of monotheistic dieties from around the world (except YHWH):

Magano (Ethiopia)
Thakur Jiu (india)
Shang Ti (China)
Hananim (Korea)
Viracocha (Peru)

Yes; well, of course, we all began with Adam.
He knew the truth.
He lived 930 years and he had it all.

God then re-started with Noah.
Noah lived 100s of years, and he had the full truth.

From there, big-headedness began again, and individuals wanted to become their own gods and set up their own religions and beliefs about life.
So now it's every man/woman for himself.

All totally selfish.
But all such shall die a selfish death.

To me that seems like more evidence that there really is just one God, and people use to know it...
