Ok. My boyfriend is three years older then me and sometimes I fell like he is moving to fast for me. I also find myself constantley saying other guys are hot and checking other guys out. Please don't be that nasty because Im 12. Oh and dont say your too young to be dating. I get enough of that from my mother and neighbors. Should I break up with my boyfriend. Im not sure if I like him anymore, but I am also afraid to break up with ihm because his mom and my mom have been friends since they were ten which is how i know him and that would make things really awquard between the two families. I am so confused and I dont know what to do.

I have four kids, ages 15 to 25, and sometimes I still wonder if they are capable of making rational decisions for themselves. You are 12, and I'm sure you are mature for your age, but there are a lot of things that you learn by growing up, and there are a lot of mistakes that you can make that will ruin your life at a young age like yours.

Listen to what you rparents are saying. I'm not saying that you have to do what they are telling you, but believe me, they have a good reason for saying what they are, and they are only trying to protect you from making life altering mistakes that will steer your life in either the right direction or the wrong direction.

On a side note, if I found out that someone was considering having intimate relations with my 12 year old daughter, I would act in such a way as to render that person sterile. Surgury would be required to remedy the problem that I would inflict on them.

being that you are only 12 i dont think you are going to be staying with this guy for your whole life right? If the kid is 15 there must be something wrong with him for him to be dating down so much. NOT THAT THERE IS ANYTHING WRONG WITH YOU! im just saying a 12 year old and a 15 yearold...a little strange. Plus if hes going to fast why stay with him? However it is fine for you to find other guys attractive while in a relationship. I call it appriating gods gifts. lol. Ultimately its your choice not your families. Whenever the families hang out decide to go over to a friends or even better invite over your new boyfriend! yeah

I know where you're coming from...
An ex girlfriend was 2 years younger (i'm 14) and she was feeling the same way you are...confused about how close families who aren't related will react.
She told me flat out that she didn't think we were right for eachother and that she wanted to see someone who dealing with what she's going through. after 2 years...somethings change..social wise..
So, we broke up and she's been avoiding me ever since...BUT!! that's not the point....
Be honest with him...tell him that you need to be with someone who is more of a slow paced in a relationship...someone who isn't as...sexual (or w/e the case may be...idk...socially advanced...idk, I don't wanna judge)

But...worst comes to worst...your mom and you will both loose a friend BIG WHOOP!!

Your mom is mature...she can most likely find another friend

And you...you're young!! you see billions of kids every day...you're bound to find a boyfriend..someone who more suits you...

Good Luck!!

Oh...by the way...I HATE THOSE PEOPLE WHO THINK LOVE SHOULD BE RESTRICTED TILL YOU GET TO A CERTIN AGE!!! I haven told my parents about a single one of my relationships...3 (for those of you that think I'm a man-whore or something...) and they don't even know I've made out anyone yet..sad...NOT!!

You are way too young to be dating steady and way too young to be dating period. You are just beginning to discover who you are, likes, dislikes, etc. and these things will change alot in the next few years. My advice is to certainly break off any steady dating. Since I don't think you will take my advice to break off any dating until you are 16, then you should certainly not limit yourself to just one person.

Look Yourself in the Mirror and say this words to Yourself....

I'd like to be the sort of friend that
you have been to me;
I'd like to be the help that
you've been always glad to be;

I'd like to mean as much to you
each minute of the day
As you have meant, old friend of mine,
to me along the way.

I'd like to do the big things and
the splendid things for you,
To brush the gray from out your skies
and leave them only blue;

I'd like to say the kindly things that
I so oft have heard,
And feel that I could rouse your soul
the way that mine you've stirred.

I'd like to give you back the joy
that you have given me,
Yet that were wishing you a need
I hope will never be;

I'd like to make you feel as rich as I,
who travel on
Undaunted in the darkest hours with you to
lean upon.

I'm wishing at this time that I
could but repay
A portion of the gladness that
you've strewn along my way;

And could I have one wish this year,
this only would it be:
I'd like to be the sort of friend
that you have been to me.

Now Answere your Own Question.

I would break up with him because if you don't now you will probably be stuck with him for a while.
