Good Question! The basic thing that the Bible wants us to stay away from is ourselves or more specifically our "old self." When you become a Christian, you are "born again." This means you get a new slate, a second chance to become a better person. The Bible talks about staying away from sin and yes the Devil. But how can you stay away from the Devil if he's always around, tempting us? I truly think the worst obstacle is ourselves and how we tend to fall back to our old way of thinking. The Bible gives us guidelines to keep from falling back into the same ruts that we have always been in.

The Bible tells us about a relationship with God. It is not a warning so much as it is an invitation to know and understand God and his interaction with mankind, and principles that govern God's behavior toward men and women. It tells us about God's interaction with men in history and how we can have a relationship with God by knowing His son, Jesus Christ.

The Bible of The True Chriatian Faith is not a "warning"... it is not intended for the non-beleiver. There is nothing in The Bible for non-beleivers... it is a collection of copies of texts which, in the originals, were inspiered by God. They are intended for the instruction of His people.

I guess the Bible warns us of not letting evil (devil, whatever you want to call it) rule over our lives, we have to do the good, instead of the evil so we can enter heaven.
