I'm tearin down the tacky 80's wallpaper and painting it. Its a narrow bathroom .. not large at all. The sink and floors are white so i can do any color. any recommendations ?

I would say a light to neutral color since your bath room is not that large. The lighter the color, the larger your bath will look. White, light yellows, light greens or a blue. See pics below.

get some free paint chips from the paint store - hang em on the bathroom wall, stare at them for a few days - your choice will come to you

The lighter/brighter the color, the bigger it will look. Also, if you paint a border around the ceiling with the wall color, it will make your walls look higher.

go to Sherwin Williams.com they have fake bathrooms you can paint. They will probably give you tips on how to make the bathroom look bigger.
